It's also worth noting this is the second time in less than a year that this machine has needed this exact repair - the first time was just a week after I received it last July. Here's what I'm wondering - is there any chance at all I could talk the store into doing a unit replacement instead? When I asked the employee at the Genius Bar he said they don't usually do that, but what if I spoke to a manager for instance? I'd rather live with the broken keyboard a little while longer and then just pick up a new/refurbished machine whenever it's ready, to keep my downtime to a minimum. I didn't decline the repair at the time, but they told me I have to wait till the part comes in anyways, so I'm exploring options in the meantime (they told me to take a look at some authorized repair places while I wait, but I'm not sure I feel comfortable doing so). That's a silly long time - I rely on this machine for development work, as well as university studies, everyday. Here's my problem - they offered to repair it under warranty, but they quoted me a repair time of 10 days. I took it to an Apple Store and they tried removing the keys to clear any debris, but the issue persisted.

So my 2016 15" MacBook Pro has been having keyboard issues, as have many others - my 'h' and 'n' keys stick. This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc. If you'd like to view their content together, click here.

Apple execs explain why the MacBook Pro was over four years in the making, and why we. What makes Apple’s unique, though, is that it’s going to enable Apple Pay on the web with the touch of a finger.
